Paul Moore, Project Architect, designed and executed Construction Documents a substantial interior remodel of an existing warehouse. The client, Motor Excellence, required offices and work space, which included production and research and development facilities. Substantial Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical upgrades were implemented. Mr. Moore coordinated engineers.
As a way of getting natural light deep into the office area, interior glazing was incorporated into walls and doors. This created acoustical separation, yet allowed views to the outside, despite the numerous small offices deep inside the large warehouse.
The nature of this facility created an environment that encourages collaboration between designers, engineers and production staff. Furthermore, workstations with flexible support services are provided for a variety of tasks.
